Die NFL hat internationale TV-Rechte an die Sportvermakter von IMG Worldwide verkauft. Es geht um die Rechte von diesen Sommer bis Sommer 2011/12. Der reuters-Bericht ist etwas schwammig:

The three-year deal is effective immediately through to the 201l/12 season in certain countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. IMG will also license the international distribution of NFL Network and NFL Sunday Ticket in each of those regions except for Europe.

The NFL will continue to manage TV rights in the rest of Europe.

Auch IMG benennt in seiner Presseerklärung nicht die Länder.

Die de-facto Reichweite von ESPN America mag nicht groß sein, die Abdeckung in Form der Anzahl der Länder ist es aber: Portugal, Türkei, Polen, Italien, Deutschland, Österreich, UK, Niederlande, Frankreich, Skandinavien, Irland, Schweiz, Zypern, Island, Luxemburg, diverse ehemalige Ostblock-Länder inkl.…
